Terms of Service
Last updated: August 21, 2026
Demo Ink Studio (“we”, “the studio”) runs this website and its booking assistant. Booking an appointment means you accept these terms. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy.
Booking
You book by describing your idea to the assistant, choosing an artist and a time, and paying a deposit. A booking is confirmed once the deposit is paid — and, for the pieces described below, once your artist has accepted it. Slots can be booked up to 60 days ahead. Please give contact details that actually reach you; it is how we confirm the appointment and warn you about any change.
Deposits
- Standard deposit — ₪200, taken when the booking is made.
- Larger work — ₪400 for a sleeve and back piece, which books out a full day of the artist’s time.
The deposit is part of the total price, not an extra charge; the balance is settled at the studio. Payments run through Stripe, so your card number never touches our servers.
Your slot is held for 60 minutes while you pay. If the deposit has not arrived by then the booking is cancelled automatically and the time goes back on offer to everyone else. You are welcome to book again, subject to what is still free. The clock only runs once the slot is yours to pay for — while a request is waiting on the artist, nothing expires.
When an artist reviews a booking first
Most bookings confirm straight away. Some are held for the artist to look at before any money moves — large or long pieces, sensitive placements, cover-ups, work spanning several sittings, and bookings where the system picked the artist for you. An artist may decline work they consider unsafe, outside their style, or that they would rather not tattoo. If a booking is declined after a deposit was taken, the deposit is refunded in full.
Prices and times are estimates
The figures shown while you book are estimates, not fixed quotes. They come from what the artist has actually charged and taken on comparable pieces, and exist to give you a realistic range before you commit. The final price and the real time in the chair are set by your artist once they see your references, your skin and the placement in person. Where a piece needs more than one sitting, each sitting is charged separately.
Changing or cancelling
- 24 hours or more before your appointment — cancel or reschedule and your deposit is refunded in full, or carried to the new time.
- Less than 24 hours before — the deposit is forfeited. The artist held that time and can rarely fill it at short notice.
- If we cancel or move it — illness, equipment, anything on our side — you choose a new time or take a full refund.
Not turning up
If you do not arrive and have not told us, the deposit is forfeited. Repeated no-shows may mean we ask for the full price up front, or decline to book you again. Arriving significantly late may mean the work cannot be finished in the time reserved, so the session gets shortened or rebooked.
Age and identification
You must be at least 18 to be tattooed here. We ask for your date of birth when you book and may ask you to show or upload a government-issued ID to confirm it. We will refuse to tattoo anyone who cannot confirm their age, and a deposit is not refundable where a booking was made on a false date of birth.
Reference images you upload
By uploading a reference you confirm you are allowed to share it with us, and you let us use it to design and execute your tattoo. We will not knowingly copy another artist’s custom work — ask for a direct copy and your artist may decline or offer their own interpretation instead.
The booking assistant
The chat is an automated assistant, not a person. It helps you describe what you want, suggests artists and collects booking details. It is not medical, health or tattoo-safety advice — anything it says about healing, suitability or aftercare is general information only. For anything touching your health, speak to your artist or a doctor.
Aftercare and results
A tattoo permanently changes your skin, and how it heals depends heavily on how you look after it. We give you aftercare instructions. We are not responsible for results affected by not following them, by a medical condition you did not tell us about, or by work done on the tattoo elsewhere afterwards.
Liability
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability connected to a booking is limited to what you paid for it. The site is provided as it is; we work to keep it accurate and available but cannot promise it is uninterrupted or error-free.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute will be heard by the competent courts of Haifa. We may update these terms; the version published when you book is the one that applies to that booking. Questions? Call 050-000-0001 or message us on WhatsApp.
